This past fall, I was introduced to cold wax and immediately fell in love with its process, its rich consistency, and the way it interacts with linen.

I began creating small studies in color, form, texture, and depth. Working on Arches paper became a daily ritual that freed me from preconceived ideas about what I thought I should make.

Soon after, I started exploring collages on wooden panels as well. These pieces were made with curiosity and a sense of play that I tried to seek out each day. I have held this work close because it felt so new and personal, and I am excited to finally share it. My hope is that these pieces find homes where they can bring brightness and quiet joy.

Cold wax can be difficult to capture in photographs, but in person these works have a soft depth and a quietly dreamlike quality. Wax collage with linen on Arches paper.
